When water seeped through the attic, causing widespread damage to Mrs. Watkins' home, Action Insurance Repair stepped in to assist. Despite delays from high claim volumes, our team's diligent work on drying and ongoing restoration efforts are bringing her closer to a fully restored home.

Referral: Loss assessor
Project value: £65,000

Background

Water had been leaking through the attic for several hours, which resulted in extensive damage to the bathroom, two bedrooms, the landing, stairwell, lounge, and kitchen-dining area. As insurance companies were receiving a high influx of similar calls around this time, the process was slower than usual - leaving Mrs. Watkins and thousands of other claimants playing a waiting game before they could restore normality.

The work and how AIR helped

We were approached by the loss assessor involved in Mrs Watkins’ case to tender for the strip out work, which we won – and is currently in process.

The result

The drying process is now complete and we have been invited to tender for the reinstatement work. The clients are keen for us to win this tender, as we have forged a good relationship with them and are familiar with their job and the family.
