12 months ago, a water pipe burst in a traditional three-bedroom semi-detached house in Duxbury, Chorley. When an unoccupied property suffered severe water damage due to an undrained system, leaving it uninsured, the owner turned to Action Insurance Repair for help. Our team expertly restored and renovated the home, resulting in an impressive market valuation increase.
Unfortunately, because the property had been unoccupied when the leaks occurred and the water and central heating systems hadn’t been drained downed, the property was not insured for the damage caused by the burst water pipe. Our client decided to pay for the property to be refurbished themselves without any insurance settlement, with the intention of putting it on the market once complete, and they asked Action Insurance Repair to quote for a full water damage repair and renovation.
